The bit with the skewer and Ricky Gervais at the end was an impressive illusion. More his reaction to it we found entertaining than anything else.
He's not the most dynamic of illusionists but seems to pull in the celebs (maybe because he's the executive producer has something to do with it)... So cynical already for the New Year |

I kept watching , so must have liked something about it.
He's innovative and inventive. He's worked hard for years to be the best at what he does.
He leaves the old ideas of magicians way back in the past where they belong.
Magic isn't my kind of entertainment but he succeeded in keeping me watching.
I can't knock him in any respect. |

I really enjoyed it. Loved the reactions of the people watching.
I put it on slow motion a couple of times to see how he did some tricks. Like when he took George Bush's watch.
