I have been sent a few FRs recently out of the blue, duly I have accepted and sent a polite "hello how are you" which promptly gets deleted. Why do people feel the need to collect friends for no other purpose to boost their numbers? |

So that they can see your pics, simples, if you had a pic on view people wouldn't need to bother. |

"Well don't accept any more. Simples "
I have it on my profile that I think it's rude to send them. My friends are people I've met, intend to meet and a couple I banter with on the Forums. |

"Its so they can see your private photos
They can't be that desperate!!!"
Why is it desperate?
They look at your pics, decide they are not interested so don't contact.
Why would you assume its desperate? |

I'm a friendly sort of bloke, if they genuinely want to be friends then great |

I think thec"desperate" comment was self deprecating.
Sadly a friends request out of the blue rarely seems genuine in my experience.
They're frequently from people who don't match your profile and often those who vanish from the site almost as quickly as they send out friend invitations.
But hey others may have had different. experiences. |

"I have been sent a few FRs recently out of the blue, s?"
The proper method of dealing with FR's from those you haven't spoken to:-
1 check they are offline
2 accept FR and perv their private pics
3 fab at least one private pic to show you were there
4 delete from friends list , block if required
This will eventually cause all pic collectors to implode with frustration |

Over the rainbow, under the bridge |
I think a lot of random requests are from people who simply want wank material. I leave them sat there - don't accept or delete - and then they can't send another which must be frustrating for them. |

you have NO public pics, so they need to see what you look liketo know if you are not for them.
put one public so people can see you and the FR's will drop substantially. |

I did this years ago; however once I delete their request, they can re-request. So now I just ignore their request permanently and they cant re-request.
If someone I send a friends request to, is on the list, they are removed from the list and the friendship is instantly accepted
Much easier for me, and I dont even check who has sent one, I just click it and go back out to zero off the number |
