I always know the meal I'm going to cook after a food shop. It's the subsequent ones that I never have a clue about

What's in the cupboard? In the fridge/freezer?

I've been food shopping today to. Pizza tonight but tomorrow night it will be chicken breasts stuffed with sliced chorizo, Monterrey jack cheese and wrapped in pancetta before being cooked in the oven and served with cous cous.

You could always roast some new potatoes in the oven with chunks of red onion for extra flavour - add some rosemary too.

(Can you tell my ex is a chef??? Lol )

I hate shopping, for food, for anything unless I have a specific item in mind and know where to get it.

Always tired and brainweary after a supermarket trip (trip being the operative word- more mind numbing that drugs!)

No, you are not alone. Hugs and sympathy

i used to plan my meals when i was a member of slimming world..

these days i just batch cook n freeze left overs,,, or dice/peel/slice fresh veg n freeze into smaller bags then each portion is ready when i want it.

reduces waste for when little one changes her mind

i find it easier to create stuff when my choice is restricted though..

everything is filled up and my mind just frazzles as theres too much to chose from haha
