Is bad enough.
But its even worserererererer when you got the habbit of chewing the skin AROUND the nails instead.
At the mo my hands are a mess (being out of work etc and letting myself get bored)
Now there is stuff you can put on your nails to stop you chewing them, but it fecking hurts when you put it on the skin!!!
And it rubs off easy too - so not quite work 
I cant wear nail polish in my job - as that tends to do the trick, as i dont wanna damamge the polish.

haven't bitten mine since first week in January. It was a late resolution. They're like talons now and I'm chuffed  never had nails before in all my 52yrs |

I use to bite mine yrs ago..
Until my Mam said 'Wait till you get married and the Vicar see's your nails' NEVER biten them since..
But I suppose now you can get nail extensions now to cover up your stumps..
