Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
I am blessed and had many more good moments than in 2012.
I think my favourite was a private moment. Nothing naughty, in fact no one else present, but simple and never achieved before.

Doing karaoke with a German couple in a Hamburg bar at 7 in the morning after all my mates had gone to bed.
Sounds weird out of context but that was the most fun weekend of my life. |

I'm thinking but not coming up with much.
2013 has been an extremely crappy year.
At the end of 2012 I felt really positive and believed this year was going to be a good one. At least, it couldn't be worse. I was wrong on both counts.
I have very few happy memories of 2013.
2014 will be better. If I have to start offering sacrifices to gods it will be better. |

Absolutely nothing it's been such a shit year! Not being able to find a job, uncle having life saving surgery when he had an abscess that covered 3 quarters if his brain on the left hand side, shitty men who have made my trust issues with men hit rock bottom and my great grandma dying :/ |

I have to say, judged in it's entirety 2013 has to have been one of my very best years to date ... excluding birth of children of course ... continued independence, financially, emotionally, socially and sexually ... a few mini highlights ...
1. singlehandedly resolving several car related issues
2.completing the refurb of my lovely little house
3. finding my niche in a job which I totally love
4. seeing my children continue to grow and blossom in spite of what is going on around them
5. time spent with wonderful wonderful friends on far too many occasions to mention
6. finding myself sexually, having several mind blowing first time experiences, falling everso slightly in love .... and lust ....
and mainly rediscovering the confidence and the person that I was decades ago !!!
That'll do for now |

A lovely twin centre break in the summer which left me with very happy memories.
Also my son finding the love of his life and her presence in all our lives is a joy.
....more good things to come in 2014 for us all I hope xx |

You're brave, I have to hover "
I remember reading a bit of graffiti in a khazi many years ago.
It's no use standing on the seat
The crabs in here can jump 6 feet
If you think that's very high
Go next door, the bastards fly

after coming to at the side of the road trying to get to my feet and collapsing twice barely able to raise my chest from the ground, before finally dragging myself to my feet and realising that i was all in one piece and for the most part unhurt and could still walk.
never ever felt relief like it, the first times cause i couldn't move for shock part of my mind was just convinced that was it and i wasn't ever going to move my legs again.

Watching the 6ft 1 Dutch Adonis run towards me and failing to keep a straight face as he fell to his knees, hugging my legs, asking I not be angry with him for being late.
He's not let me go since and I'm still smiling. |

Coming out as a bi man, and now feeling no shame in seeing a guy and thinking phwar.
And meeting a guy, who made the experience so good, what a bloke, met him again last night, and it was even better |

For me one huge highlight was my dads wedding in March and introducing letsbe to the whole of my family in one go!! Still a bit miffed that he got more of a mention in the speech than I did
Other personal achievements that I'm sure you are bored of hearing about are my running ones and I hope to build on those this year.
For all those who can't think of any achievements, you made the biggest one of all. You made it. Through whatever 2013 threw at you you are still here. Be proud of that at least x |
