isnt this what the government was proposing a little while ago?
personally i dont like it.
not at all.
yes, it will stop kids looking at adult material, but then so would setting up blocks properly.
it just promotes lazy parenting, the same as the nanny state has about all aspects of parenting.
seems the onus is always on someone else to do whats right for your kids instead of you. |

I believe that if you already have adult content then you will remain unaffected, for the time being anyway. However, should you change providers then you will be automatically blocked unless you request otherwise.
But as has already been said, the internet is virtually unblockable, there will always be an add on that bypasses filters. |

Already happening, mobile internet on phones has been blocking by default for years, many public WiFi's now block sites like Fab.
Will not stop Fab existing, may improve it as the d*unken Saturday night profiles may slow down a bit. But you may have to take some action either by downloading a plug-in or contacting your supplier to maintain access. |
