My cat, who lives with Mum, was diagnosed with cancer before Christmas. Mum and my stepdad didn't want to tell me until after Christmas. He's off to the vets later and its likely he's not coming back. I'm sad beyond words right now. |

Oh no, I am very sorry to hear that, but he will be going to a better place and will no longer be suffering ... people who don't have animals really don't understand the loss of a loved pet ... just think of the lovely life he has had xxxx |

Very sad to hear... I had to put my Siamese cat down after 10 great years but he was diagnoised with stomach cancer and sadly i had to put him out of his pain and suffering... I miss him but i'm afraid we do usually out live our pets, but i'm sure you would'nt want your animal to suffer.
I feel for you, wish you the best... |

hugs from me too xxx
It's the best thing for the cat if he/she is suffering.
Some people can be selfish and put themselves before their pets and they suffer rather than let them go.
my thoughts are wirh you. |

The vet has said his quality of life is still there for the time being. He's lost 200g in 4 days. Its likely that its going to be in the next few days when his time is ready to go, but the end is coming sadly.

"That's so sad. Our cat has been missing for over a week now. Last night we put up missing posters around the local area. Pets truly are family members in our eyes."
We did that, he was in the wardrobe! Lost a cat to cancer 2 years ago, after watching relatives suffer through this debilitating disease in some ways I'm jealous of pet animals. |

sorry to hear that ruby ....a few years ago my beloved cat had cancer and I put the death sentence on her and made the mistake of being with her when the vet put her to sleep but I know it was to spare any more suffering
