Hi, a staff member has just text me stating they can not make it into work tomorrow as they are in manchester and there is severe ice and bad weather conditions making her brother unable to drive her back. Yet the trains are still running.

Can anyone please let me know if this is the case around Manchester?

Xx

BBC Weather for Manchester gives a minumum of 5degrees C rising to 8 overnight, increasing wind and rain.

So, unlikely to be any ice at all.

Little did they know you would cross-examine her on fab forums!

No ice etc, but apparently there's a storm coming soon

Of course, the "severe ice" could be in a bloody large Vodka?

Brilliant thread. Next time I want a weather or travel update, the BBC can fuck off. It'll be straight to Fabs for me. It's worth the fiver!
