Home alone at the moment. My first Christmas spending any time alone ever. My kids have abandoned me for their partners thinking I won't mind as I have a boyfriend now and want to spend it with him.
I wanted a family Christmas, but hey ho,himself is on his way over. I've invited myself to my daughters for next year! |

Not in Hastings but home alone. Not had a christmas card to open never mind a present. Not one family member has returned my calls but looking forward to my baked beans on toast, once the kitchen floor has dried.... |

Home alone here, brother at girlfriends so curled up on sofa with homemade trifle and snacks with my two cats, salmon cooling in the oven as their present later x |

Carry the toaster and microwave into a room with a dry floor.

My first Christmas physically alone. House mates on holiday, family miles away. Haven't had a partner in years. Doesn't bother me anymore at Christmas then it does any other time of year.
I kmw Christmas is a time for families, but there are people in much worse positions then me, and I'm grateful fof what I have. But then I always was an optimist. |
