A 12-year old and a 13-year old cat and new vertical blinds = disaster.

They don't seem to be learning either.

No, they keep pushing through the sections and getting stuck on the chain. I had to rescue girl cat a few days ago. She'd stepped over the chain with her front feet but couldn't get her back legs through after them. In struggling she fell off the windowsill and ended up hanging by her stomach with front and back legs either side of the chain

I'm surprised the chain held her weight, but it did.
