My pets get presents throughout the year. They aren't getting a present this Christmas because there's nothing they need. They already have more toys and beds and blankets than they need.

They won't be getting special food for Christmas either as they have quite delicate digestive systems and anything unusual, especially if it is rich, is virtually guaranteed to give them the squits. As they are long-haired, this is not fun for them or for me.

I admit to the above. But the last car we had did NOT like his Santa suit so we won't go there again

Best gifts for a cat:

Empty box, screwed up piece of tin foil or shiny sweet wrapper, screwed up ball of paper.

Also, for mine, drinking straws.

All our pets get presents on their birthdays and xmas.

The dogs, cats and rabbit (giant house rabbit) get new outfits.

Patch and Molly are Mr and Mrs Santa Charlie and suki and reindeer and daisy (the rabbit) wears a xmas hat and scarf.

They all have new years eve outfits. Dresses for the girls and black tie and top hat for the male dog.

They all have six presents each to unwrap and their own tree the gifts go under.

I'd never dress my cats up. They'd hate it and I think it's demeaning for them.

They are living creatures, not Barbie dolls.

They'd let me dress them up but they wouldn't enjoy it.

I value my 10 fingers rather than try to dress up my cats

All the animal will be having turkey on Xmas day and the dogs will have left over veg as well.

As for presents I'm afraid I don't - but do buy them toys and treats throughout the year.

My Rug has told me that She is Buddhist so i feel it would be Disrespectful to her beliefs if i tried to enforce my Religious Razzamataz on her...Apart from that she would probably rip my throat out while i slept

The Skittens have a main present, they also have their own stockings from my mum, they each had an advent calendar this month. And no doubt Obi will turn up with presents of cat crack for them

I'm tempted to dress 1 up in a santa outfit if I can get one small enough - he's stupid enough to let me do it
