Haven't enjoyed this series as much as the first two seasons as the tension has disappeared, but still looking forward to the finale. Personally I'd like to see the end of Brody and Carrie's story as Saul's story needs exploring and I'm sure there are more terrorists out there than those Brody was involved with, I also can't see how Brody could get out of this

Downloaded the final episode from the states. The news is that Brody is hanged, Ceri is made head of an overseas post and Iran backs down over the development of Nuclear arms...

The ending looks like it's been written recently as it reflected the recent diplomatic developments between the west and Iran. Where it goes from here I don't know, maybe some of the Russian republics or Russia itself

It's hard to imagine a Homeland without Brodie. I'd expected him to be taken out of the car at the execution site wearing a hood so we could have had a 'was it/ wasn't it?' ending.

Thanks to the arse who felt it appropriate to give away the plot, I really wonder why people do that, it isn't big and it isn't clever.

As for the series, I loved it and felt it was a good ending for Brodie. I'm sure it will be back but will it be the same without Brodie binding it all together?

Hated season 3 but haveing loved season 1 and liked most of season 2, had to watch to the end to see where they would take it. Just spent most of the season wishing someone would shoot Carrie, undisciplined spy's are one thing, emotional wreck's with no analytical skills in charge of the skulduggery that ensures our safety in the fight against terrorism, we really don't need.

The Brodie ending was mostly appropriate, there was nowhere in the world a man so photographed with a $10,000,000 price on his head could live for long anyway! and no way the CIA could make him an American hero for carrying out an illegal assassination on their behalf, so dying was the only option.

But to take a mentally ill emotionally unstable analyst who disobeys all orders and make her the youngest section chief in CIA history!!! don't think I will bother to watch season 4

"Bin Laden did well then "

Yes the Americans do have a habit of selective reading of the Geneva Convention both directly and via drone strikes.

If they had done that particular assassination first, could have saved thousands of lost lives and billions of $ but selective reading does require the country to be a war zone first... Or on some occasions near by countries also count

"Quinn with a BBW? No way!"

I think it was supposed to show his poor PTSD judgement and his need for comfort (the old trope of fat woman as a sexual partner = poor choice/ fat woman = nurturing maternal figure) but it also showed his decency - he's happy to take her to breakfast, to hear about a "normal" life outside the agency: a whole lot about how his life lacks normality and he is wanting a "normal" life. When he "defends the honour" of his partner, his snap back into trained killer mode shows the dysfunction and disjunction in his life. Quinn is by far the most interesting character in the current series.

Is it just me or does Carrie always look like she's smelled a fart and is then looking round for the culprit?

hey... claire danes does the best "eye acting" in the biz.... lol "

She was on telly earlier as Juliet opposite DiCaprio. She'd have been 16/17.

It's nice that they have replaced Damien Lewis with another lovely Brit. Raza Jaffrey was obviously just auditioning when he was in Spooks.

Hope the Carrie character got blown up, can't stand the woman. Do think they have gone so far out on the fantasy limb that they will hopefully not make another series.

If you were downloading, then the USA are ahead. We watched episode 9 yesterday, with the cars blowing up at the end. So you are up to date with the UK now, The US aired episode 10 yesterday.
