I think it's crazy the amount people buy just for 2 days, the majority of it gets thrown in the bin

I don't have to cook Christmas dinner, so my only indulgence has been a tin of chocolates and some vodka lol, my daughter is 13 and off to her dads, so really I just get what I always get.

My cats need feeding though!

I'll have to brave it, although I find it odd everyones going bonkers today when there are Monday and Tuesday to go bonkers on too.

Got all mine done yesterday. £200 for 1 days catering comes as a shock when there are normally just the 2 of us, but there will be 12 on Xmas day, and quarter of the budget was booze so not so bad really.

I'm going to Tescos later to buy the booze, I do find it incredulous watching people looking stressed and over filling trolleys etc.. and the bedlam which can ensue.

I find it better shopping either on the way into work at 4am or on the way home at 10 is best, no one is about it is great.

It's amazing how volatile people can get....and how basic manners are thrown out the window...I got rammed with a trolley and she just looked at me....and never said a word...I just said I think you were meant to say sorry and walked off...

I am ok for Xmas day........

I have a couple of slices of bread left...

A bit stale but ok toasted....

And I have saved a bit of mouldy cheese for a special treat.

I wouldn't bother I shopped for work online. We spend 200 a week. They sent very short dated items. Didnt have the turkey I ordered which should of cost 25. Instead they sent a turkey breast in atin for 5 pound

I went to Asda yesterday and filled a trolley till it was overflowing. The aim was to buy for 10 families who need to use the local food bank, but hey if it stretches to 5000 great
