It's the shortest day today, or the longest night depending upon which side of the fence you look at from.
So from tomorrow night, it will get darker just that little bit later and of course we can look forward to the spring bulbs poking their heads through the soil, buds on trees, lambs in fields in the not too distant future |

There is a saying in Welsh which when translated means the day stretches a cockerels step every day. Obviously it looses a hell of a lot in translation but sounds good in my mother toungue |
