I was wandering if their is any language, oar languages, that contain as many homophones as English?
A phew years back eye was discussing the difference between homophones and homonyms with one of my brood, decided two list as many as we could and wee still haven't run out of them.
Know, weave knot bean doing it continually, just an occasional thing when a knew one crops up, and is recognised, inn normal conversation. |
