Guys, why would you not shave your pubes? Is there any reason or logic behind not doing it?

Personally I just forget sometimes, but usually my 'bush' is trimmed down, but only my penis itself is fully razor shaved. |

I like to have indications that I've passed puberty.
Trimmed is optimal for convenience. Shaved is simply asking for skin complaints and maintenance issues. |

I like to have mine shaved all off as it feels good when I'm on my motorbike as the wind around the nether regions feels good even through my leathers it feels cooling, plus its easier to wipe the spunk off lol  |

Humans produce pheromones, they are stored in the pubic hair follicles and arm pits, if you shave them, you lose pheromones, which are the chemical needed for sexual attraction, and finding a mate.
The second reason not to shave them is for protection, pubes are curly like springs and protect the male reproduction organs from damage and infertility.
Pubic hairs are curly, so they don't poke your eyes out when giving a blow job, so all in all a great design feature |

Let's throw it back the other way - why do we now think humans in their natural state (bush) are unappealing? It was fine in the early 1980s. Did mother nature get it wrong?
Totally shaved looks odd and will get you odd looks in the gym changing room!! |

I'm surprised this trend for shaving still goes on. In reality the whole idea of it being more hygienic isn't true, but if it makes you feel better fine.
My thoughts are simply this. I can be attracted to someone whether they've got pubes or not, it's not a deal beaker, but hairless can be a little adolescent looking for my taste.
The idea that whoever I meet should/shouldn't be shaved is not my decision to make, and it's a shame that personality and other attributes are not being considered.
For me it's a complex mix of all the different factors which come together to create "the person", and the attraction comes from that. |
