Five weeks ago i ordered a dinner service from a well know company, a week later i got an E-Mail that it had been dispatched so i thought it would be here in plenty of time for Christmas day.
NO NO NO the bloody service is still not here, and with E-Mails flying back and forth NOBODY seems to know where it is or who has got it, they have taken the money and it wasn't cheap.
It means now that if it dosn't turn up i will have to go and get another so more money will be spent.
To say that i am fed up is an understatement.
Sorry but i thought as it is Thursday i would have a mini rant !! |

I've heard a few stories like this lately.
My friend ordered a kitchen from ikea was told the delivery day it was coming, her OH took 3 days off work and on the morning of the day it was dispatched (after receiving a text saying it was on its way) ripped out the old kitchen ready for the new one.
That was 2 weeks ago. Still no kitchen but they have had an email this morning saying sorry for the confusion and the kitchen will be with them on the 3rd January!!!!!! |

"Between my fans being despatched and them arriving in the summer some bugger nicked them, but they replaced them
"
That has crossed my mind and these people do have a habit of just leaving goods on the door step.
I am going to try speaking to someone instead of them asking me to E-Mail |

Look on the bright side, at least the postman will have a nice, new dinner service to eat his Christmas dinner off
Sorry, only kidding, hope it arrives in time and all is well |

Feel your pain and irritation OP. If its a reputable company sure that CEO/MD would like to hear how he/she feels 5 weeks is an acceptable delivery time, given the communications you've exchanged with their company.
Fingers crossed that it turns up for you before Christmas and gets resolved.

Last week when i came home from work there was a amazon parcel sat outside one of my neighbours houses in the pouring rain!! I lifted it and took it inside and left them a note telling them where it was. I cant even believe it hadn`t been taken. 8 o`clock they returned home and i can bet it wouldn`t have been there then. Stupidity of the delivery driver leaving it there!! |
