Saw it on AOL news today. A uni student has invented a thread that can be made into fabric so that we can have clothes that don't stain.
Basically it's a polyester yarn that has silcon microbes on its surface. It will repell water too so will be waterproof as well as stainless. Apparently nothing will stick to it.

And more importantly - if it's non stick - why do you need oil when making a bacon butty if you don't want to be scraping it off the pan? |

You don't need oil to fry bacon. It has it's own oil if your pans hot enough. Our bacon does anyway |

You don't need oil to fry bacon. It has it's own oil if your pans hot enough. Our bacon does anyway "
