In addition to the valid light/photosynthesis reason, the water will be slowly absorbing miniscule amounts of plastic molecules. Drink enough bottled water and you get Plastic Surgery from the inside.
In reality, Marketing. If one was daft enough to buy it in the first place, one would be daft enough to buy some more. |

It has to have a BB date on it, even if it can't go off.
I had a friend who worked in the factory that made that crap UHT milk. When the milk was getting close to its sell by date, it came back to the factory, the old date was removed, a new one stamped on, then shipped back to the shops. |

"A friend of mine did some of her phd research testing bottled water against tap water and without exception the tap water had much lower levels of bacteria and spores."
I was told buy a guy who works for one of the water companies that it was because of the enzines in the Plastic |

Did you knoww that if you drink this type of water just after it is bottled it will kill you , why because its full of added chemicals to extend the shelf life . Most bottled water once stagnated will taste off in 24 hours . Moving water oxinigates so keeps fresher longer. |

It is easier to carry a bottle of water around than a fully plumbed tap.
