I believe that collectivly as a people...we should rise against this corperate jolly noise...and buy ourselves some peace and quiet for a change...before we spend it all on fucking toys!!...

The land of grey peas and bacon

This year im in the Christmas sprit...as Im cooking dinner and to see my dads face as he tucks into a turkey dinner as he has not one for years....its memories like that i will cherish....i don't give a shit if i don't get any presents..its about my family...Ive brought my mum an extra special present this year so looking forward to her opening it....Christmas is about being thankful of the people in your life and rremembering those that are not around....rather then the material side of it....Im also thankful that i have a roof over my head and the luxury to buy food for Christmas...i spare a thought for those that are homeless and for those who have no loved ones or those alone at Christmas.....

New years fucks me off too.

All that crossing your arms bollocks and singing a song you have no idea about and so just mumble through it.

Pubs and clubs charge stupid money, everyone goes on it from midday and wants a fight by 10pm.

I'm very "meh" about it.

It's no longer a special time, just an

overly-commercial excuse for gluttony.

I don't hate it. It just doesn't mean much to me.

Hmm, used to be really anti Xmas to the point of refusing invites and deliberately spending the day alone.Would buy no cards or presents & do my best to avoid receiving them.

Took me yes to understand it was actually a symptom of SAD and that i actually like Xmas but was pushing it all away because i felt so awful.

A better head, a better life and a loving partner allows me to indulge my not-so-inner child again so...

A Merry Christmas, everyone!
