Go to the Docs and put his mind @ rest. What's a few minutes in a Doctors surgery?

Yes off to the doctors. Better to go now and get it seen to then to leave it for any longer, it could get much worse.

Hope you get it sorted.

So, rather than visit your doctor with a medical problem or net.doctor you log on to Fab...yep, it would be my first choice too!

Any cough lasting more than 3 weeks should be checked out. There has even been an Ad campaign on TV about it this year.

Can be that much of a cough if someone's had it for months. Then after all those months decide to come on fab for medical advice

It's easier to expect sarcasm after every post I find lol

Seriously if you've been trying fir that long and can't get in I'd tell them I am making a complaint. They have targets in relation to getting patients seen to and if you are struggling to get an appointment then they are not meeting their patients needs.

I can wait up to a mth for an appointment with my gp , I've been told the reason beinis that all the older folk book another appointment on the way out as my gp is so nice. I rarely need to go but if I do need to and can't get seen I ask for a home visit. Its amazing then how easy they find me an appointment.

Go and see your doctor, any cough that lasts more than a few weeks is serious and while it may be bacterial it could also be other things. Get it checked out.

I remember a SINGLE MALE posing an equally "inappropriate" medical question. My response was the same as the one I made here. Only difference mine was one of the most helpful replies. Think that thread was closed because of the comments.

Anyone who has a medical condition that causes them concern, and instead of seeking appropriate medical help logs onto a sex site for assurance needs to have a serious talk with themselves: these people aren't your friends!

Essex.

I (Risky) had something similar. It turned out to be bronchitis... Better to go and be told nothing to worry about than suffer at home with something that could be easily treated by the doctor.

Hope everything is ok . Please let us know what the doc says because not all of us are cruel and callous . Most are very concerned and supportive when it comes to a fellow fabsters health .. good luck xxx

I've spoken on the forums about my health problems. One of the forumites and I had similar problems. It didn't have the same effect on me as I'm menopausal, it affected her as she's only in her 20s.

Both of us went to our doctors FIRST not use the forums to diagnose our ailments...but hey, you finally managed to seek the relevant advice. I'll refrain from personal insults and wish you well.
