Halloween, nothing like being in pitch back room

only to find a white faced mask look straight at

you, to make the blood rush through your body.

My favourite films ever. Haven't seen a really good one in ages, I prefer the more disturbing ones, rather than gory! Although I did enjoy the saw films, Eden lakes not bad but the ending makes you mad!

Has to be children of the corn from years ago. I would still be scared of going into a corn field now!!!!!! And the kid in it was called Malachi and was a very scary person.

The changelling was bad too

Also the lady in white.

And the Blair witch freaked me out as you never see anything it's all in your own head.

And who can forget the entity. Many teeenage erections and spanking the monkey even though it's based on a true story about a woman attacked by a ghost/demon. I felt ashamed watching the sex bits over and over and over......... Well when I say ashamed I mean I enjoyed it.

I left the cinema after watching Blair Witch thinking "What was all the fuss about? ", when I got into bed that night I couldn't turn the light out.

Zombie Flesh Eaters (Lúcio Fulci film) still gives me the creeps.

Yeah that one scares the bejesus out of me too!

I remember being terrified of Lady in White when I was younger but haven't watched it since

The Conjuring was quite scary as well. I also liked Vacancy - all the crazy banging on the door but there is never anyone there.

First 30 min of Jeepers Creepers was terrifying... but then the winged hell beast angle made it too hard to buy!

Carrie is great coz no matter how many times I've seen it that bloody hand shooting out the floor at the end always makes me jump.

I like horror films but they're shit now. Books are better and if anyone's read Stephen kings Gerald's game it's not a horror as such but the bit where she slits her own wrists to escape from the handcuffs made me throw up!!

Movies aren't scary anymore. Too many lazy jump scares.

But my fave horrors are:

Trick 'R Treat

Halloween

Tucker and dale vs evil.

American werewolf in London.

28 days later (FYI, this IS NOT a zombie film)

La horde

Blair Witch

The thing (Russell and prequel)

Alien

Cube

Martyrs

Switchblade romance (haute tension)

Frontiers

The loved ones.

Evil dead (all of them)

Grotesque

But if you want your skin to crawl, watch A Serbian film.

Yeah I wasn't a fan either... Reggie actually fell asleep in the middle of it! The kids were creepy but I think Mama herself was so unrealistic that she wasn't scary. I was ready for it to finish about half way through!

Good selection!

But 28 days later is about 'The Infected'. Zombies are your standard gormless, slow moving dead transfixed on feeding. The Infected aim to spread the infection through the population as fast and widespread as it can.

I love 28 days later-it still gets me on the edge of my seat, even though I've watched it dozens of times!
