Dose anyone find christmas hard. I. Find its always such a let down especially when you have lost pepole. Theirs also alot of lonely pepole and alot of parents that struggle financially. I quiet often wonder is it worth ot especially as hardly anyone is religious anymore. I dont know what to make of it anymore. What dose everyone else think. ? |

"I think Christmas is a time for remembering friends and family and doing what you can to add a little bit of happiness into their lives. "
Or, and I know this'll be controversial, you could remember them all year round. |

I think if people stopped banging on about it from bloody November it may be more tolerable. |

I like it because it's the one time during the year when the family make an effort to get together. The rest of the year life tends to take over and it's good to have a couple of days where I feel I can not worry about working and can catch up with family and spend time with the kids without the normal routine taking over. It doesn't matter what your budget is...doesn't have to cost a fortune. Time with family is priceless. |

For me christmas is a time when everyone puts time and effort in for each other and brings people together.
It's not just about the presents or the dinner it's about being together |

I used to work continental shift all my life so to me Christmas day was just a normal day to me.Since I have retired being on my own at Christmas doesn't bother me in the least. My day is New Years Eve,thats what I look forward to each year. |

I am not a bah humbug, but Christmas for me has always been a time of work, with the djing and now even more so with the pub, but, it is a very social job, do i get the best of both worlds, happy people drinking loads and enjoying themselves.

I prefer to spend Christmas on my own than to mingle with people I do not know well.
I enjoy cooking and like to push the boat out to myself to some nice meals.
I am alone and like my own company, however I am not lonely.
