My mother is going away today to get hitched down south in aa Pagan wedding. She also has decided she doesn't like the phone I organised her last week as there's no flash so yesterday I organised a new one for her to be delivered today and the other one to be picked up.... Which was all fine until my soon to be stepdad took the SIM out then put it in the wrong way around, thus doing something to bugger up the phone!
So I, the least tech savvy person in the world, am soon to be tearing my hair out trying to fix the phone that Vodafone have been told is working fine!!
Please someone give me some patience, or advice!! |

Ooops lol !! Couple of options though ?
1. Try another sim card in the phone make sure the handset still working ?
2. He may of damaged the chip on the sim card, in which case pop to vodafone shop and get a replacement
If you take the phone and sim to vodafone they should sort it for you easily |

Big hugs and count to ten, take the phone into the nearest Vodafone store and say phone came like it see if they can fix it and go to boots and get a disposable camera and use that to take pics, at least can't bugger that up honey |

If they weren't disappearing off to the arse end of Dorset then it wouldn't be a massive problem!
What I don't understand is why she got him to do it, I had taught her how to put the bloody SIM card in!! |

Last time I posted on your thread, I got a 48 hour ban for trying to contact you as you've blocked me for some unknown reason!
However, get the phone, carefully take the sim out, examine the sim for damage. Examine the phone for damage, there should be six little bent pins underneath the sim.
The chances are that they've forced the sim in the wrong way.
I don't think the phone would be damaged by this... Just try putting the sim back in properly or try another sim. Take your time with it.
