I love 60's and 70,s music. Even better when you havent listened for awhile. You forget how good some of the songs where. But then im just an old fart who doesnt know anything current and has just bought bette midlers new cd lolxx

Loll @ Diamomd It's true you forget how good it was, then again if you go to a 70's weekend at Butlins you forget how naff it was pmsl ... but hey it's our childhood and nobody can take that away from us ... Omg if only I could go back - Gandparents still alive, long school holidays, hot summer days ... the list goes on

I've just bought the latest gramaphone recording from Major Glen Miller and his Orchestra with Marion Hutton on vocals ....

Don't sit under that apple tree with anyone else but me ....

Remember the Radio 1 Roadshow with Smily Miley where you had to guess how far the roadshow had travelled since yesterday ....

Yes well we had to listen to the radio cos the tv didn't start till lunchtime...and even then it was just the test card for most of the day..lol.

I remember listening to the chart show on Radio Luxembourg ...happy days

my 11yr old called me a liar, when I told her tv had 4 channels when I was a kid with only 1hr of kids tv each evening and a satarday kids tv show in mornings!!

lol i still do have only 4 channels. When my son was young and i tried to explain that television used to be in black and white he thought everyone just saw things in black and white lol.

Also when he found my old lps he was amazed but i bought him a second hand record player for him to listen to and that was it he had "stolen" them into his bedroom lol
