All the shops are pushing sales, supermarkets full of fucked up food.
And people just waiting for what they expect as a gift. Money wasted.
Advent calendar going in bin, feck it. Im all.in.

Christmas is more about kids anyway.
Love the build up, its over too quickly but agree the shops sell rubbish that no body needs or wants.
We keep things simple,anyone over 18 no presents just a cars; kids help with the baking of the treats,i don't buy any, the kids make gifts for grandparents including hand made chocolates.
All the family comes to us so thats their present lol me slaving over a hot stove for hours to feed 34 no 37 people is enough of a gift.
Christmas is about quality time with the family not spending loads on rubbish. |

I do find Xmas a bit of a waste of time too, and it has become less and less relevant each year. It seems that nowadays it's simply an opportunity for businesses to make profit. All they do is sell the same old crap but with Xmas packaging.

havent spent a penny on xmas presents this year.
will chuck my parents 50 quid when i go for dinner
will go home and hide away and wait for V to call after she has fed all her family.
i tell everyone all year i want fuck all for xmas, so if they get me shit and expect something in return they will be bitterly disappointed.
time of the year is a piece of crap and i hate it with a passion.
agree its for kids, but i dont have any, so im allowed to be a grouch.
