So I'm currently stuck in the kitchen... Baking heaps of cup cakes... Fudge... Gingerbread men all ready to ice probably overnight...

Does anyone else out there try to cram in proper cooking for schools.. Family hampers.. The teachers.. Parties etc etc

Is it time to give up juggling it all and head to tesco....

Am I kidding myself that people appreciate the effort and taste of home made stuff more...

Right back to the Ameretto ... Sorry baking. !!

Yes I do it a lot myself,I was taught that way by my mum, and I have done so with my daughter,I do buy shop stuff sometimes, but prefer to do my own.

Chocolate Orange cake at the weekend.

I'm being really naughty and skipping a day at college just to bake... I must admit to enjoying it... Also gets me in the Christmas mood all those iced snowmen and the smell of fudge... Mmmm
