Onion and Garlic are the worst contenders when you smell your hands the next day.

If you rub your hands over stainless steel...re your drainer. the smell of garlic normally goes along with onion.

If you eat some fresh parsley, it cleanses your mouth also...no smelly garlic breath

and if you burn candles while cooking strong smelling foods it stops the smell from lingering

Menston near Ilkley

When working for Royal Caribbean Cruises a fella from the bar helpers only job all day every day was to cut lemons and limes for the bars (14) and replenish the coffee machines with freshly ground coffee. He smelt wonderfull.

Bad smells to me invoke visions of old people waiting to pass away. I spent some time visiting an old peoples home and the smell of urine and decay was nauseous at times and is difficult to forget.

There is no good reason why care homes should smell like this these days.

The smell of death however is the worst smell ever and instantly recognisable once you've smelled it once.
