hiding from cock pics. |
"Iv looked but cant find any! lol x
They were removed "
Were all of them removed?
Are there any tips I can use to prevent a recurrence , I don't really want to only have private pics although I don't have my face on public view.
Was it correct that some of them were private pics also?
Thank you |

"Surely unless you are actually deprived of your property it can’t be stolen…
pictures are copied not stolen.... "
DMCA states that the copyright holder is the owner, and if the pic is used without consent then in effect they are 'stolen'. However it would be like Cnut holding back the waves trying to monitor what happens to pics posted on t'internet. |

They were all taken down from that particular location. Whether they have been re-blogged is anyone's guess.
As far as I know, they were all public pics. If people post their face in their public gallery, it's the risk they take. |

Yes, the tip is, don't post pics on any site on the web as someone may copy it to use it elsewhere.
Admin confirmed no one could nick private pics on the following thread.

Because of this and another pic stealing incident. We removed all our un-watermarked pics from here and will re post them when we get time to add the watermark, but we will never put pics on again without a watermark. |

It wouldn't matter in this case about watermarks as they didn't take any of them off, just reposted pics.
Having a watermark doesn't stop people doing that, even if people nicked your pics with a watermark across it they could join sites using your name.
I suggest anyone not wanting to take a chance someone may nick their pics is to not post at all or keep them in private to send out. |

It's very easy to remove a watermark, so it doesn't stop them being copied and reused elsewhere.
It's everyone's free choice to put up pictures, if you're concerned leave them private or don't upload them. |

Unfortunately if you post pics online on any site you run the risk of someone somewhere stealing them and passing them off either as themselves or reblogging on another site.
Have had to report a profile on here which had stolen pics from a good friend from his imstagram page. Think theyve also been taken and used on pof and cpl other dating sites. So no site is 100% safe
Guessing in this age of technology if you post it no matter how well protected a simple screen shot will save to any smart phone nowadays.
Think just have to keep face pics private but then if you friend someone you need the trust that they not going to post elsewhere.
Just my 5 pennies worth. I enjoy taking pics amd will continue to post them for others enjoyment or not xxx |
