have you seen any strange of funny road signs ?
one of the best we have seen , driving through desserted sun baked parts of the USA , absolutely miles and miles from anywhere , you look into the distance and about five miles off the road you see one of the huge " state prisons "
and just as your driving past there is the road sign
DO NOT PICK UP HITCH HIKERS !
i could just imagine stopping for a couple of guys dressed in bright orange shell suits , covered in jail tats NOT !
i wouldnt stop in Luton hight street on a saturday afternoon if i saw my best mate walking back home and it was about to rain let alone those axe murdering feckers doing 370 years each |

Having just got back from Goa their "Accident Prone Spot" has to be the best we have seen in a while.............I wanted to bring one home for my friend who is an accident looking for a place to happen  |

i just remembered that years ago in france they used to have a cardboard cut out of a man , one for every person on that particullar accident black spot
some dodgy bends had 3 or 4
if they had them now , folks would be phoning the police reporting assylum seekers |

Best one I ever saw was in Worcestershire many years ago. It was at a road works, to warn of a new road layout. It was a proper, metal, red and white sign, made and put up on a post by the local authority.
It read:
"Road Ahead Altertered"
Somebody made that, checked it and sent it out...
Somebody else looked at it and fixed it in place...
How? Why?
......
