To everyone concerned who attended our party last night thanx you for making Tim's birthday a good one but we were VERY disappointed about an incident that has come to light this morning.

If the person concerned would like to return it in an envelope anonymously then nothing more will be said and if anyone knows anything we would like be told

The person or people responsible know what they have done and this may well jeopodise any future parties being held

I wasn't at your party at another one (which was great) But, I think for people to accept invitations to someone's home & then abuse their hospitality is beyond beleif. I hope you have whatever went missing is returned as soon as possible. Unfortunatly on this site as well as in life there will always be the ones who spoil it for everyone else.Thankfully they are in the monority.

I read this with dismay and I would hope that the incident is cleared up asap.

I have not had the pleasure of meeting the OP'ers but can't believe that people invited to someones home for such an event could have the brass neck to even think about "taking" anything except the memory of a decent night had by all as I'm sure it was.

I hope that you get the issue sorted.

Best wishes

This is awful and does spoil things for the majority of nice folk on here.

And i hope who ever did what they did, makes good and returns whatever went missing.

I myself used to hold parties and thank god nothing like this happened.

To abuse someones hospitality like this makes me spit!

Sorry to hear that such a nice couple have had their hospitality abused in such a cowardly and despicable manner. I've met Tim & Sue several times and found them to very pleasant and upfront. It must gall them to think that somone they trusted could betray them so easily.

I wouldn't hold your breath about the item missing being returned as the post mark would expose the perpetrator's location and possibly identify themselves. I hope this person reads this feels very ashamed of him/her/them/selves, but I suspect they won't or they wouldn't have done it in the first place.

The fact someone went through your stuff is sickening enough.... Let alone took something.

takes a special breed that, to accept someones hospitality then take from them..

I hope they read this thread and whatever they use the money for I hope it brings nothing but bad luck and shame on them..

I'm stunned by that, really am, what a dispicable and disgusting abuse of trust. I doubt the low life who did it will blink an eye at the comments on here, probably would not be able to read much anyway, but still, I think you know you have evreyone sympathy

Lowlife, scanking twats! We hope against hope you get it back. Although we know if these scum are that low that they'd even consider stealing from their hosts you've got very little chance. Shit like that don't have a conscience.

What's even more galling is to think that this person/people might then have gone on to fuck others at the party knowing they'd just stolen a wad of cash. How unbelievably sickening.

Bashing on the person isn't gonna change anything...The only thing that we can do is give support and hopes you guys will get to catch the thief...and for those who have info on the person to step up...

Notting

AM shocked and saddened by what i have just read.

How sick to even go snooping through your things in the first place.

Like the idea of swinging em by the genitals in a tree - if they ever get caught.

Can we all join the queue to beat them with a big stick too.

B*stards.

Hope you guys are ok as can be, and still manage your visit.

a lesson to everyone not to judge everyone by your own morals...just because it wouldnt cross your mind doesnt mean someone wont take advantage of you.....i was taken for a fool myself not so long ago....its sickening....and wouldnt imagine you have a prayer to receive your money back...that would take a conscience....obviously something sadly lacking in that person.

im sorry this happened to you a harsh lesson to learn

xx

Never had a party since... Shame!

Well if we could get together say 10 or so of us, I would be prepared to chip in £20. Who else would be up for that?

Known Tim & Sue to chat to for a while (this and another site) so I am more than happy to bung £20 into the replacement fund. If anyone has any ideas how we get the cash there let me know.

Us Cardiacs have to stick together Tim!

Bastard of a thing to have happen and makes me wonder if my parties are such a good idea now.

Just had a "D'UH" moment there. All Tim has to do is set up a bank account for this and we transfer straight into it without troubling the Site. If you have online banking its immediate but via your own bank takes maybe 24 hours.

The account details can be circulated privately to those who have expressed a willingness to contribute ?

If the site owners start collecting money through this website, for whatever reason, the govt will deem it as 'earnings' and then be subject to tax once capital raised rises above a certain point, and as this site has begun charging for some premium services now they have to be careful what other monies they allow to pass through their hands.

Similarly, if they did allow monet to be collected for a specific reason they would have to notify the govt who received any money riased and then THAT person would be liable for the tatx upon it as they govt will not see it as recompense against a victim of crime.

You're in a tax minefiled by suggesting money could be collected through here. The easiest way is to have a whip round at the next social and give it to Tim & Sue personally, that way the govt don't have to know diddly-squat.

you know its funny you should post that because i was only saying to the other half last night that if the person who stole the money was that hard up for cash knowing Tim and Sue they'd have given them the bloody money if they felt they needed it more, and having known them for about 8 years now i really do feel i know then well enough to say that!
