Ooooohhhh...

Doncaster is a real cosmopolitan metropolis - good luck with that!

But seriously, which part of donny do you need to be near?

"Selby "

In which case being in Doncaster would involve a bit of a drive.

What do you want from a hotel? Selby has mostly independents.

Leeds or York would be closer, depending where in Selby you are going

Is there maybe a prem inn or travelodge near there? There is a best western hotel about 10 mins drive from Selby and the quality hotel if it's still there although it's a nasty hotel I'm afraid

No prem or travelodge in town. Nearest is just by the m62 at jnct 36. But it's just a hotel with a Costa outlet, a filling station and a maccy d. All in the middle of some roadworks!

You'll probably get better from a pub with rooms.

There are some lodges in north duffield. They get mixed but mainly good reviews but do come with hot tubs.

So if you wanted to arrange some fun while you're away...

Does the pub by the abbey have rooms? I'm sure that's a hotel

The londesborough? Yes. But it's more pricy than the best western nearby and it's a noisy pub.

Really?? I have a mate that lives there and that's where we go for a drink. I guess it has the monopoly being the only one in town
