Every year when someone asks what i want for my birthday i always say a bunch of daffs. Thats not always easy as their hard to get then. My mum had to go 20 miles last year to get me some. Anyway Jay bought me a big bunch from his orchard on thursday but they where all closed up. He put them in the bedroom for me so i could see them when i woke up. There all fully in bloom now and look so lovely and spring like |

We have tons of them in our garden, in fact we've just come back in from the garden after looking at all the spring flowers - crocus, snowdrop and other things that we don't know the name of . But the daffs are just starting to show faint signs of yellow, so hopefully, next week they'll be open
Love the spring, probably the best time of the year, all the new growth and an incentive to look to the future with a positive attitude ..
Ohh and our pond is full of frogspawn and the blue tits are showing signs of building their nest in the same place as they do every year |

"Ah nice, I love daffs.
Redhot, our pond is going to be full of frogspawn very soon , the frogs have been doing doggy all weekend !!"
Ours were doing the 'doggy' all yesterday and the amount of frospawn is unreal we've never had so much as we have this year, just hope the goldies and the koi don't eat it all |
