Yes it is
Set your do not disturb to only allow calls from address book or favourites and leave it switched on.
You can still see who has called from the call list if they are not actually blocked |

The only trouble with this is that many firms that you may genuinely want to here from use withheld numbers and can't leave messages.
Like your bank telling you someone's just used your card to buy 1000 mangos in Barbados!  |
