And, in answer to the question....HUGE yes!.
There are a few users, who leave the same kind of verifications, and like to use the word WOW! a lot, this just makes me cringe. Yes, you may get the odd wow moment, but every meet? really! really really??  ...I think not. If I am messaged by a guy and they pop up, its a huge groan moment from me.  |

Yes. The amount of guys who have slept with women who are complete opposites from me. Yet when they ask why and i tell them they say "Oh i was so horny and she was just throwing it at me so i did it. She's minging! She's not my type at all!" How pathetic and spineless is that? Not only did they sleep with someone they didn't find attractive but they tell me that. What a turn off. |

There are some names that put me off mainly from single male profiles where they think they are Christian Grey or the best Dom you'll ever meet - if anything probably means they are shit.
As for veris yes they can put me off. I was chatting to a man who seemed nice whilst we were chatting I saw he had met a very local well known couple on here with literally over 100 verifications and it really put me off, especially as all the pictures the couple post of these meets are bareback. That's fine, but this man said he didn't do bareback but pictures stated otherwise.
I know I am responsible for my own sexual health and I'd have insisted on protection however it really put me off him. |

Tbh I do a bit of a veri stalk i find looking at the verification that they have left for people can be more illuminating and tell you more about them than one that another person has left for them |

yes certain user names do put me off even more so if they accompanied by a dodgy profile pic.
veri's didn't used to bother me but some definitely make me think twice now. as mentioned earlier in the thread it's also a bit of an eye opener to read the veri they left for someone else  |

Firstly, usernames can be a bit off-putting for me - although it would more depend on the email convo that followed the initial first message, I'm pretty sure I've never turned anyone down flat cos they were called SwallowMyHugeLoad or FillMyGapingMinge (actually, I think that's one of Funky's fake fem profiles). If the photo, profile and initial message appeal to me, I'll attempt a bit of a dialogue - often I find these taper off into one line responses (regardless of user name) which lead nowhere.
With regards to veris, I scan them, read a few, notice if we have any meets in common - very graphic or gushy ones I mostly overlook - if the messagee has met someone I know then usually it's more likely that I'd maybe arrange a social. As to how many or few veris a person has, I'm more for those with a goodly amount, but don't immediately discount those with only a few or having them hidden (I had a great overnighter with a gent whose veris I never saw...)

Here's a little example of why this kind if thinking is so wrong .
A few months ago we were at a social and we bumped into a nice couple .
It turned out we had words on the forum some months previously . We clearly were not their type . Too upfront , different type to that which would appeal to them . Too many veris etc ....
Well to cut a long story short , we ended up having a wonderful time in a playroom and we all agreed that the saying ' never judge a book by the cover' was never more apt !

Alternatively, rather than have verifications, they could be replaced with a chart of some kind that shows how often they have met in say the last 3 months, 6 months etc.
This way you know they are verified and how active they are |

As far as names then yes some I think yuk, as for veris I don't use them so not bothered how many have.
I've still to work out why some people feel the need to rely on what someone else has said about someone and not find out about them themselves. That's just me though and while we have a veri system then people can use it however they want. |

I've been here over a year and so far only 2 people on here have met my high standards. I doubt i'll meet another 2 if i'm perfectly honest. And as i stated in a reply earlier, it's not the amount of people someone has slept with on here, it's the amount of verifications THEY THINK IS APPROPRIATE TO SHOW that causes concern for me. |

I have over 30 veris from people i've spoken to on webcam but why show 30 when 1 will do? I have 3 veris from guys i've actually met and had sex with however only show 2 as the third one was a guy i met from another site and brought him here. I feel that showing the 2 veris for the guys from here and 1 of the cam veris is appropriate. I have no idea what you're trying to suggest here. I have loads of verifs... most of mine are social meet with people who I have met at socials and clubs and haven't played with... but they were kind enough because we got along and the conversations we had to leave me a verification

Ermmmm, user names don't worry us... Veris? Can be useful indicators of type of person and how genuine they are (but we do meet peeps without). But number of veri's is a prob for people like us, we've been casually swinging for over 17yrs and we feel if someone is generous enough to veri us it's only polite to put it up, for a little while anyway! However we only use veri's when we have actually met / played xxxx |

I'm not keen seeing a huge amount of verifications in a profile. Too round the block for me. 2 or 3 is enough for character reference but after that it's a repeat of each one and turns me off. Sometimes a little decorum goes a long way. |

In my opinion, showing loads of verifications is inappropriate and i make my choices of my sexual partner accordingly. Why is this such a big deal? There are plenty of other people here saying exactly the same thing but you're not jumping all over them. The way i choose my partners is entirely my choice. Someone asked the question and i replied. If a guy has 150 veris all for sex or mostly for sex, then he's proud of all his conquests and in my opinion, not very picky. We all make judgement calls and that's one of mine. I'm not looking to sleep with a guy who thinks numbers are impressive. It's quality not quantity in my world. |

Names put me off as they can give be insightful. Its interesting to remember the original names before forum influences cause people to change to what they believe others find aacceptable.
Some veris make me cringe but im glad there are such huge variations.
