How many people on hear have friends and family that know your a swinger.
And how did they find out did u tell them etc only asking because I think my dad knows what I'm up to and don't know how to explain to him any one got some advice |

My best mates know. Most of them are fascinated by it all. Every Sunday I walk the dog with one and it cracks him up when I tell him what's been going on in my 'fab life' side of things  |

My aunt recently stumbled across my old profile. I freaked out and deleted my old account, anyway ended chatting to her after avoiding her for as long as possible lol and after chating agreed to.keep our secret safe and she told me to stop being draft and carry on enjoying myself. Which i plan to do |

Thankfully for us almost everyone we know knows we have an "unusual" side to our lives, some know more details than others.
I say thankfully because of this thread from a year or so ago we had to start:

If we had had to explain from scratch I think the outcome with our friends and neighbours would have been different.
You are doing nothing wrong by being on here, by acting as of it's a dirty secret, you make it dirty.
That said, it's also your private life, you just have to accept that by being on here it may not be quite so private as if you weren't on here... |

A friend of ours found us on here and asked us outright if it was us so we told him yes. Then blocked him changed our profile name and photos. My best friend also knows. I tell him everything and he is quite interested in it all

who are you Eddy or Red? What does the other one think?
Having face pictures in public and as your avatar will put you at more risk of being outed, if you don't want that move them to private. As has been said your sex life is your and your partners business only unless you're in some sort of danger. If your father asks directly just assure him that you're safe and doing things from your own free will if he doesn't ask don't say anything. |

My girlfriends know I meet people and know I'm in a site .... But not told them the name ... Really don't want them seeing the details or my pics ,,,,, but my family have no idea ! And that's the way I like it .... I don't show face pics unless I feel comfortable .... So I don't think anyone will find me here ...... As for you , I would just hide my face pics and carry on .... Answer questions with the truth, but don't offer any info unless confronted |

My gbf knows I'm on here, in fact I got him to sign up on here too and he always wants to know what I'm up to!! I told him originally as I wanted someone to know where I was going to be etc.... For safety, that was back in my single days now I'm part of a couple he just wants the goss!!!

I told my boss who happens to be my best mate. Only because I was recognised on here and when it gets round work im bi life will get very difficult for a while and he's the only 1 who could make it bearable, security is still quite a closed minded career on the subject.  |

That's why I do wonder why anyone shows face in here..it may be a chapter you wish to close and it can stay online forever. Some careers it would be embarrassing and impossible .. You win the lottery it becomes a national story you were a swinger.
People need to think long term.. If you work in teaching it is unwise to show face on here as pupils could make the job impossible.

I'm not embarrassed at all im having fun!! I know and expect it to get difficult for a while but im not going to hide just because some small minded oaf thinks he's better than me. But on the same account im not gonna start wearing make up n shouting about it. If it comes out then so be it I'll still have a bloody good sex life |

But it's just easier to keep it secret..
There are long term implications like wanting to spare your kids getting teased at school about it. You can make decios for yourself but we have greater responsibilities to shield the ones we care for. Kids at school can be bullies.. And I have heard it make a child's life hell that it got around school her their parents were swingers.
Think bigger picture.. It's easier to do this with more discretion |

No I agree that it is nothing to be embarrassed about but.. When it takes so little effort to keep it secret by not showing face pics right away, why take the risk? fun is great now, but simple steps can keep the fun less risky to your everyday life.. You might change your mind in a month and want to forget all this. It would be too late everyone would know and there would be no option to erase it from your past. people gossip and why give them easy ammunition until at least you have given it some good time to know if this is your path.

Everyone is different though, some people don't think it's a problem. It's not for me to tell an adult they need to think long term and not show their face. |

It can be awkward as all couples/fems ask for face pics. I used to have my more rude ones on public till i got a message from someone. I sent a face pic then the horror as it was my aunt who i had been chatting too. We were both mortified at first but hey we are both adults so just keep away from each other. Twas rather embarrassing though |

All of my friends know and like a previous poster said they are fascinated by my swinging tales...one of them even knows my fab login in case I ever go missing in action and I always let them know addresses im going to for my safety...my family don't though, they'd just freak out and have me committed lol |
