Thinking about taking a sabbatical the upside to a night shift i guess is you get to think more about what you want or think you need.
According to wiki .... a sabbatical is:
Sabbatical or a sabbatical (from Latin sabbaticus, from Greek sabbatikos, from Hebrew shabbat, i.e.,Sabbath, literally a "ceasing") is a rest from work, or a break, often lasting from two months to a year. The concept of sabbatical has a source in shmita, described several places in the Bible (Leviticus 25, for example, where there is a commandment to desist from working the fields in the seventh year). In the strict sense, therefore, a sabbatical lasts a year.
Now i doubt i will last a year maybe two months will be ok |

Knew that. Lots of youngsters from kibbutzim take their sabbaticals and travel the world a bit. I remember in the 70s/80s quite a few were ruined for life, and didn't want to resume their life and jobs in that sheltered environment.
Things have changed a lot since then. |
