"Sentences that start "with respect "
That's the last thing they are thinking about you "
.
Very true, and I would only use that phrase when addressing peeps that I have very little respect for, and they know it, as I do not hide my contempt for them.

"Sentences that start "with respect "
That's the last thing they are thinking about you "
Same as " I'm not being funny, but...."
one expression that seems to annoy me is "Laterz". No reason other than it irritates me.
So if someone said "With repect, Im not being funny but surely I'll se ya laterz" it would tip us all over the edge.....

Moist and fanny. I have no idea why, and yes I know that they can be put together in a sentence that should be funny/dirty. But it'd just doubly piss me off!! |

Not so much any particular words that annoy me but it really grinds my gears when people type 'lyk dis' because actually spelling it correctly would have took SO much longer....
Don't really mind abbreviations like lol or ofc, that's just laziness we've all (mostly) adopted but blatant disregard for any sort of spelling, punctuation or grammar does it for me. |

"Play ... when used on here
I send children out for playtime
"
I am in total agreement with you on that one.
And for me it is "fun". I have nothing against the word in it's normal everyday use, it's when it's used as a replacement for the word sex that it irritates me. That and its overuse on some profiles. |

On here I dislike the term fems, when people type fact at the end of posts, the popcorn reference and end of.
Oh and people who use the exclamation mark as a form of aggression |

End of. Not one word but two of them. It may well be the end of a person's statement but saying "end of" sounds so aggressive and as if they mean that's the end, not more debate or anyone else's opinion allowed. |

I can't stand YOLO as it's the most pointless acronym ever...and being addressed as 'yous', 'youse' or 'use' (normally by scousers) sets my teeth on edge.
Cunt I do like, I use it sexually and as an insult |

Moist. Makes me cringe.
Nawty/norty/gorjus/gawjus. NO!
People putting .com on the end of everything.
Overuse of 'haha'.
People saying they are 'casually' doing something, like "Just casually finishing my assignment".

Call me old fashioned ... but I really hate the over use of the term LOL !!!
Some people seem incapable of writing a sentence without incorporating it somewhere ... and surely they don't really LOL after every little quip !!!
..... and then when you really need to LOL it loses it's impact ??? |

Not particularly haha, I was just brought up to speak nicely. I've only just wandered back in to this thread, I'm in agreement with many of you. 'fun' & 'play' instead of sex, yolo, laterz, txt spk etc, I completely agree.
Also I have thought about the use of hate as a description. I try to limit my use of 'love' in day to day chat so that it has more meaning when I do use it.
Might I add that the phrase 'there's nothing worse' should be removed from everyday use. Ofcourse something is worse than forgetting your phone charger. Debt, leukemia, death, losing a limb, they are worse.
Lmao xxx

I use the word "cunt" all the time, it's a lovely word that just rolls off the tongue when you stub your toe or the manager is acting up.
I don't like the word "fanny" thanks to overhearing an old, very vocal Welsh woman having sex on holiday when I was a child. Scarred me for life...

"Can't think of any which really irritate me but I do dislike when people confuse how to use the words 'fewer' and 'less'. Which is a particular pedantic quirk of mine."
I've been so conditioned to question whether I am using the correct word by a friend of mine that now, just to get revenge, I purposely use the two words incorrectly because I know it pains him! |

Things like "lmfao" "amazeballs" etc don't offend me per say, but I do doubt the intelligence of people who use them.
The occasional "lol" is fairly normal I think, when used in context and not just to end almost every sentence.
The only words that offend me are "ni**er" and "p*ki".
The people that use them are subhuman scum imo.
I actually like the word "cunt". It's just so versatile and descriptive. |

I hate the word 'issue' but only when pronounced with the 'ss' not 'ishue'. Generally find radio 4 presenters or politicians do this and I find it makes me immediately and irrationally dislike them... |

It's such and itty-bitty word. you can just hear the juices in the mouth.
I DETEST "going forward" at work - management speak mumbo-jumbo. Usually (but not always) covering up lack of aptitude I think. |
