cant see why a social would do any harm, I like them just don't go to any anymore as I don't drive and there is never any local ones

Well I've never been officially invited to one as the ones I've seen have been a sort of, invite yourself kinda thing! But I don't think I'd be suspicious if I was invited.

'some' single women may be.

I can only think they are nervous of attending somewhere alone, knowing they will be out numbered.

And many times couples ignore single women, feeling isolated with strangers isn't fun.

because they are scared of it turning into meat market, like the telford coffee one did last week.

go take a look in the meets section at the way a completely innocent request for people to come to a coffee morning, turned into some kind of open invitation to a gangbang as soon as a couple of females (albeit parts of couples) started talking about having unfinished business
