Girls like me that are not really gf material.. great mistress or just a fuck but well it's always been the way.. and I make good with what I have.
I love romance just accept it won't be for me... I am happy to care for my friends and even love some of them.. but only my children love me in return.

I've been in love once, loved several times. Being in love is the best feeling in the world, however, when it goes wrong, it's the worst. I won't say I'll never love again, but I know I'll never find that again, once in a lifetime stuff! |

I found people that were meant to love me just hurt me the most so when I was very young I promised myself I'd never give my heart. Betrayal still hurts even without love... But my own parents showed me this lesson...Closest i came to love was my first husband.. we had been friends and partners in all sorts of trouble making... But made the world's worst couple.. to alike ..
I think that to many think they are in love .. don't get me wrong as I sit here all a bit merry on vodka and listening to soppy songs I wish I could take the chance and let someone show me love is good.... But by morning i will have toughened up.. I'll cuddle my kids and know that I have the greatest love ever and unlike my parents my children will know I love them.
Sometimes though even a cold hearted slut like me would like to hear those 3 words and know they were meant . Xx but well |

I don't fall in love easily, I have been there 3 times in my life though. The first two, well they are both married now & the feelings I had are gone. The 3rd one....thats still hurting.
I can't imagine never falling in love. The feeling of wanting, nay, needing to devote your whole being to someone. Of giving your absolute all for their happiness & feeling their love in return - there is nothing in this world like it. I know it's an old fashioned view, but I honestly believe, deep down, that my purpose in life is to find someone to adore, care for & love with every last breath.
I'm sure the time will come. |

Only ever been in love once .. And know id never find that intense amazing feeling ever again and tbh dont think id want to as to compare it would be so wrong. When love does walk into your door id say seize it with both hands and enjoy as mine was taken from me so quickly and to watch the only man you have ever loved be taken from you ...well lets just say the angels were blessed that day .
And so to answer your question OP no I dont fall in love easy took me 39 yrs to find true love . |

I love love ... its a wonderful emotion
I have been hurt frequently too many to mention - from family to boyfriends and husbands .. hasn't made me believe there isn't someone out there for me now. Trick is not to wear blinkers and to be open to it

I've had 4 long term relationships.... Only truly been in love with one of them. I'm still in love with him... as he says he is with me... but living on different continents now meant it wasn't going to work out |

Once....i can say i proper was in love with him....I have made mistakes and fallen for someone too quickly. However over time I've learnt not to and i believe that when the person comes along i will know about it and know that i can give him a little piece of me. |

Love ending IS painful but being in love is such a wonderful warm, exiting and life affirming thing that, for me (male), the being in love makes it all so worth the risk. I truly feel sorry for those that cannot love. |

I've been told I'm wife/girlfriend material a few times but take it with a pinch of salt as I don't fall for men easily and I am quite guarded but when I have let my guard down I have been shit on from a great height.
So no I don't love easily.
Had a friend (someone I dated in 2007/8) almost tell me he had feelings after panicking about my safety on Thursday, but knows me well enough to know he would freak me out if he did  |

I would say yes. I've been in love but have never been loved back. I tend to get people that just want to control me. Last one wanted me to love him but he made sure he wouldn't love me by keep putting me down.
I get why Cali said that a girl here won't get it. I feel the same and worst I've been told it. Many of times I've been told your already to fuck and get bj off but I can't be seen out with you. I'm okay to fuck but god forbid to date. So now have give up wishing for another half xx |

I know exactly what you mean, as I'm the same.
To answer the original question on this as well, if you've known true love, then giving up something like fab wouldn't feel like a chore, because they become the most important thing in your life. However, if the emotional connection between the two of you is strong enough and you both enough the community here, then enjoying it together is better than giving it up. |
