The 'pop', certainly from me, is more about using a term like ebony to describe black people AND about wanting someone just because they are black. |

Ebony magazine is still going and was started in America in the forties, when the term black wasn't used. It was trying to emulate Life magazine but aimed at African American's. A strong one word name.

I think he's probably got it from porn, the black ladies section is called 'ebony' isnt it. Nowt wrong in showing your appreciation in a nice respectful non offensive manner which I feel the op has. |

Agreed, I've gotten ebony princess and Nubian queen, takes some getting used to, but I refer to myself as milk chocolate lol so as not to confuse anyone of my complexion |
