I wonder if people sit at traffic lights ready to go or just diddle along as if they have all the time in the world.
I like to be ready and off pretty quick when I drive .. music on.
Today some young blond woman in an Audi was on the outside she assumed she would get in front.. was so funny to see her have to drop back behind me.
Do you find also your driving is affected by the music you play.. Afraid I like it loud and drive to things like S & M makes me smile as people dont expect that from a white haired old lady. guess i am a bit of an aggressive driver really.
As an after thought.. sainsbury's have *Mates skin Large at 50p for ten today |

I do ab exercises at traffic lights.
I saw a physio about a back injury recently and have some exercises to do to strengthen my core to help protect my back.
I do them multiple times a day including doing the seated ones whilst waiting in traffic.
I will usually be in first gear with the hand brake on, but with my hand on it ready to go though. |

My work car is speed tracked so I have to stick to speed limits everywhere.. On the plus side, it makes my day now seeing how pissed off other drivers get if they can't get round me.. I just give them a nice smile as they grumpily ride my arse!!! |

Im not in a race against anybody in life, let alone in a car. People who can't get up to the speed of the road are potentially going to influence accidents, and Id prefer it if everyone was tested for this, not just eyesight etc. Ive seen too many near misses from slow crawlers, even forcing trucks to have to pull out. Im always ready to move on promptly at lights and junctions. Pet have is those who dazzle others by using their foot brake instead of their hand brake. |

"I'm a swine for doing a big stretch when I've got someone next to me at the lights
Lol - Tina do you drive dressed ? "
Oh yes! I leave the house in a coat and trousers, make up 80% done, find a layby and finish femming up and then I'll drive to where I'm going dressed. It's tremendous fun! |

"I like to pull away slowly to wind up the people that are obviously in a hurry "
I take great pleasure in slowing down for tailgaters. Aggressive drivers are among the worst kind of idiots. |

Before you get the wrong impression I never tailgate. Nor do I rush people along. I always pull over to allow faster drivers go by.
What I get annoyed about is people trying to overtake instead of drop in behind at lights etc. |

So would you never use the right hand lane to try and get ahead of someone at the lights? |

"Don't they have two lanes for a reason?
Amuses me when people's egos are so fragile they feel they have to win the 'traffic light race'."
I had a 20yr old 1litre metro, winning the traffic light race wasnt cos my ego was fragile, it was about blowing smoke in the faces of the morons in posh cars who laughed at my poor car!!
Was bloody old, but 0-40, she flew!! N did 90 top end, tho i rarely went ova 50!! |

You must have been sat at those lights for ages to have been able to see them all laugh at you and deduce what morons they were.
I remember driving a mini metro once and finding it had a ridiculously big steering wheel. |

Being the responsible person that i am,i like to set off nice and slow, and stick to the speed limit. (This has nothing to do with the fact, that my car is a complete banger, and i am unable to keep up with the cost of fuel nowadays! Lol) |

There has been a collision outside our house today. Cretin in a BMW tried to 'race' an Audi through a semi blind bend at the summit of a hill. He went straight into the front of an oncoming VW Polo with an elderly couple inside. I helped to pul those people from the car and watched them go into the ambulances.
Its not been pleasant, two old people carried away in ambulances whilst the absolute cunt who caused it walked around without a fucking scratch. I hope he faces a prison sentence but i doubt he'll even get a slapped wrist. |

I see people go screaming off the lights and also overtaking me. Usually, 100 or so yards down the road I am sitting behind them at the next set of lights or they are behind another car. There is too much traffic these days to be worth the bother so I just go with the flow.
I had a bloke overtake me yesterday then slam his brakes on to turn right....
I did laugh at that one |

If I'm in a line of traffic with somebody up my bum I let them past just so I can chuckle at them still stuck behind the lorry/tractor/allegro/bus in front. |
