its learned behaviour.
the same as shame, guilt, right and wrong.
you see your mother/friends/relatives going crazy about them and soon enough they become something scary. |

I was fine with spiders until one tried biting me on the thumb, lucky for me (well it wasnt trying to kill me) it bit my nail so didnt hurt or perforate my skin.
I never used to be scared of snakes but I cant stand looking at them on the tv, freak me right out, Ive even held them before now.
Im not sure why though, they make me want to spew |

i'm not afraid of them but I can't pick them up they just feel weird, I always use a glass and a sheet of paper to catch them then put them outside
my dad used to leave them in the house, he'd say whenever you have spider you don't have flies, I think that's why they don't bother me |

I really dont mean to dis snakes, I love nature, this dosent mean I walk round hiking in the nude
Im also scared of cats and horses, but getting better with these two.
A lot of it is to do with I cant read them, if any of them want to attack me I wont be able to see it coming. |

I love snakes, had a python and boa. Also had pet rats but spiders do send a shiver up my spine.
Think it's down to how my Mum reacted to them while I was growing up. |

"Because they're hairy ugly leggy fuckers that go really fast"
Pretty much sums it up.
I've owned some pretty scary snakes in my time, one could of killed me if it wanted to it was so big and strong, was I bothered? Nope,
Anything bigger than a money spider and I'm a blubbering mess x |

Cats and horses are easy to read, I can usually feel the tension down the lead rope or between my legs before they are about to do something and most give clear signals with their ears.
And cats with their tails and posture. |

Im like that with dogs, never been scared of them, quite happy to sit on the floor and let a snarler come and check me out - stupid I know and one day I will regret it.
One minute cats are like 'Yeah do that shit stroke me, make me purr' next thing have that ya bastard, you stroked me once too many times, Im going over here now, fuck you human being.
Im now looking at my hand thinking 'That fucking hurt, both my skin and my feelings, you fooled me'.
I fell off a donkey once when I was a kid and a few years back when I was trying to be nice to it a shire horse stood on my foot, It didnt mean it though, or so thats what the guy with it told me.
They are big though and I really do think people who sit on them are brave.
As for those little ol jockeys going fast and jumping shit, really brave.
I am a fanny really but I have flown birds of prey so feel I kind of even out on the man points in this one. Im back to equal |

Plus cats and horses wont try and kill you with their massive fangs, encase you in silk and dissolve you slowly.
Well the cats might. Bastards. |

Theres a photo on the net of a cow with its head stuck in the fence, the next pic shows another cow mounting it while the other cow still has its head stuck. |
