I feel due to the mobile app,that many more fake profiles are being created...So I feel that everyone on the site should be verified by cam..In this day and age everyone should have the technology to do this...cams only cost £7.49...I admit may be hard to do/inforce... |

does being verified on cam mean genuine swinger ? I don't think so its pointless ..im only intrested in meeting gnuine wingers not people who only cam and there are far more of them than genuine swingers in my opinion .

I dont mean to verify if their a genuine swinger..but is an actual genuine person,because where im from you just get alot of women joining who are usually Ex jealous boyfriends using their pictures.... |

Well im sorry as I said im here to swing so genuine swing verifications are what im looking for not cam verifications that say people are either male or female .

But instead of photo verification where you have to hold a piece of paper with your name/face in picture..you have to do that by cam...because fake profiles usually have fake meeting verts... |

You dont understand...instead of being verified by a picture by the site..you show your cam to the people who run the site,so they know your a real person... |

But that's not what a cam verification is.
And I suspect the people who run the site have better things to do with their time than look at a succession of horny people who think that because it's by webcam it has to involve some kind of masturbation. 
I don't cam and any website which has a rule which says I have to will just have to manage without me. I suspect that will hold true for many of the single women on the site. So you might reduce fakes but you'll also reduce the genuine ones too. |

No you show your face to be verified on cam..it makes it safer for women,many fake profiles have fake meets in them..Just say if a man got hold of your pictures and was pretending to be you,and set up a profile,and then started to arrange meets where you live...this would never happen if you had to show your face on a cam,when you set up a profile.. |

OP you are aware it's possible to fake on cam.
You can record someone else's cam then show it instead of your true image.
I think you need to step away from their being one, magical solution and start to hone your selection process if you are interacting with a lot of fakes. |

This site gives you every option under the sun to be your own internet detective and ignore anyone you think is fake, there will always be fakes it is impossible to stop it however if you are pro active and sensible with good filter you wont get stung by them.

Keep doing that and you wont have to worry about fakes.
I repeat there is no way to eradicate them from a website like this all we can do is report suspect profiles (which tend to get taken down).
A mandatory webcam verification would be a logistical nightmare and would discount huge swathes of the site that only access it through a mobile device.

And yet you are not paying any attention to the feedback from other site users who are telling you that nother only is your suggestion logistically unfeasible but that they wouldn't be willing to do it.
We are all asked to give feedback on fake profiles - that's what the report button is. |

Very easy to understand...A man sets up a female profile,easily done with just pictures..if you had to show face on cam.2 prove you was that woman .cant be done.. |

So another guy contacts the profile messages and phones to arrange a meet and finds its a fake, and reports it... whats the risk? |

Surely if you want to make things safer for women the first step would be to ask actual women what they want/need from the site?
Fake profiles set up with pics of an ex are generally more troublesome to the men who contact them than the woman whose pic is used. In fact most of these women never know the profile exists.
And it's just as easy to get pics off the internet as it is to use pics of an ex.
The other flaw in your argument is that you cite profiles set up on smartphones to be a problem and suggest camming would be the solution. Even though its not possible to cam on a smartphone or other mobile device. |

I'm verified left, right and centre. Don't think i can prove to be any more genuine.
Those that genuinely want to use the site to actually meet and 'swing' won't mind being verified through any method i don't think.
...that being said. Profiles that are photo verified are a  from me.

Think you will find that if your fantasy scenario had happened there would be at least two men in jail for every occasion, and it would be all over the news.

There was at least one fairly well known example of this, they even made a tv programme about it.
But the guy in that instance was Herr actual boyfriend and used more sites than fabswingers setting her up as someone who had a rape fantasy. In fact no-one from fab was comfortable with the set up (please come to this address and don't say anything just act out my rape fantasy) all the guys who turned up were from other sites.
This kind of behaviour is however as rare as stranger danger is to children: it happens and when it does is plastered all or the media and terrifies people but is highly unlikely to happen to anyone we know. |

I very much doubt it.
How can the 'phone call happen if there's no woman to speak to?
Even if a guy arranged a meet pretending to be a woman and gave her address, when the meet turned up and the woman said she knew nothing about it, most meets would leave. They'd be confused, but they wouldn't barge in anyway.
I don't understand why you are so determined that women are so badly at risk. If we were, there wouldn't be any women here and the police would issue warnings!
I reckon there are far more men pretending to be women to get their rocks off than men intending to set up meets for a woman who knows nothing about it. |

It's highly unlikely to happen at all, I'd say. A few isolated cases does not make a terrifying risk to all women make.
And I really don't see how the OP's suggestion would do much to protect women.
If individuals use sense when meeting others, this site works quite well. |
