That Vicks FirstDefense stuff is really good to have around if you feel a cold coming on, start taking it for a couple of days and it will prevent it. Well, has done for me without fail.

Fresh parsley is good to snack on, or mix it with chopped raw onion and a bit of olive oil.

Oregano oil is good but very intense.

Swallow a raw garlic.

Get some rest.

Boil some water with crushed ginger and then sieve it into a mug with half a lemon squeezed and a teaspoon or two of honey.. then add some pieces of the crushed ginger in if you want also..

Drink lots of water.

Echinacea, extra vitamins, fruits..

All of the above combined! If I do catch a cold, I normally get rid of it within 24 hours thanks to the aforementioned combo.

Brighton - even Hove!

Lots of hot lemon and honey drinks to sooth sore throat and get some vitamin c inside you, hot bath to relax in and the steam will help clear your nasal passage, a poorly pressie to cheer you up, keep warm, zinc and silver tablets are meant to help sore throats. Menthol stuff to help clear your nose. Headache tablets.

Get well soon

Oh yeah open a window a bit to let fresh air in. Sneezing is good as it's your body getting rid of the horrids, as is a runny nose so keep blowing, dispose of your aloe vera tissues and wash your hands.

Lots of sleep and plenty of vitamins. Spicy food can help too. One thing that has always been comforting to me when I've had a cold is warm Vimto...I'm sure the benefits are psychological but always makes me feel better. Get well soon x
