Just done my good deed for the day...

Whilst out for a walk came across a very expensive looking mobile!!

And it's now back with its rightful owner!

When and what was your last good deed?

Found a wallet with £75 quid in it. Got it back to its elderly owner. He sent a thank you letter with cheque for £10 enclosed. I never cashed it.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I drove all the way back home and back to where we were so that my sister wouldn't be late for her lunch appointment.

A House

Found an iphone in a shopping centre and handed in to customer service who then reunited it with it's owner.

Also found £10 at work and handed it into my boss, would've been so easy for me to pocket it but wouldn't have been able to live with myself, if the owner doesn't claim it then it is banked.

Sheffield

Picked up three kids from school then dropped them for sports training.

Then took someone who hates shopping to get some of their Christmas shopping done.

On the way home went to cash and carry for my friend who runs her own business. It's been quiet lately but she's just had a mad flurry and can't afford to turn it down or take the time out to restock.

I stopped off to exchange a faulty item and spotted something another friend had despaired of finding which is one of the few things on her child's Christmas list (not all kids want everything) so got it and dropped it round before school was out so it could be hidden.

I think I've earnt todays halo.

What a lovely thread. I've volunteered to take calls for the text santa appeal on the Friday before Christmas

My friend once found a phone and texted a couple of recent numbers to try to reunite it with its owner. Instead he got a text back from the owner accusing him of being a thief and saying he would do vile things to my mate's family etc. etc. My mate got sweet revenge - he just forwarded the vile message to the entire phonebook with a brief explanation
