Was complemented on repositioning the cast iron door of the red-hot stove last night.
Stove man came out because I daren't hammer the iron pins all the way back in the hinges. Was afraid I'd shatter them.
He said these doors are mighty heavy buggers, even for him. Didn't tell him my arms had been shaking for about 20 minutes afterwards. *pleased* |
