You've had a crap day at work. Or the kids have been driving you potty. Or the other half has got on your nerves and you're having some 'you' time, chilling out, winding down and de-stressing.

What goes on your iPod, CD player - or for the oldies - your record deck (or 8 track! Lol )

Recently I've found the calming, serene tunes of Slipknot to be perfect zone out music after a hard days graft!

Titz Towers, North Notts

"Enya or Clannad works for me."

I can never hear Clannad without thinking of Robin of Sherwood.

I will listen to The Winner Loses by Bodycount, which is really steady, or Mockingbird by Barclay James Harvest

Ah, duality is one of my all time favourite songs.

I can also recommend break stuff by limp bizkit. The words always make me chuckle.

Its just one of those days

When you don't wanna wake up

Everything is fucked

Everybody sux

You don't really know why

But you want justify

Rippin' someone's head off

No human contact

And if you interact

Your life is on contract

Your best bet is to stay away motherfucker

It's just one of those days!!

I have a Lounge CD which I bought years ago from a DJ playing in a beach bar in Ibiza which does the trick nicely. Can't remember the name of the place or the DJ for that matter but listen to it on a regular basis.

No, I think it was at the beach bar in Cala Conta so a little bit off the beaten track for Ibiza standards.

Definitely a Slipknot day today!

Think I may have inadvertently been snapped by a speed camera this morning (just a tad over the limit on an empty dual carriageway!), got waylaid at work and crept 3 minutes over on the parking tariff so instead of £4 was £22 - and random warning lights on the car dashboard - 2 days before a lot of driving up to Xtasia!

Bugger, arse and feck!
