You wouldn't want to come around my house then. My dogs an ex Olympic swimmer that's taken up smoking |

I worked for a while as a door to door debt collector, and in one house there were 40+ cats, who never seemed to get out.
The smell hit like a wall when the front door was opened, clean clothes and a shower were needed after a call to that one, 'cos it was "come in.. I've the money here somewhere". |

Dogs!
Once went to a clients house to take a witness statement. The house was meticulous, as were they, but Jesus they had an old dog, it must have been decomposing from the inside out!
I don't know how you could be immune to that smell!  |

Are, I forgot, wiped from my mind... Wet dog, gas fire where said dog has rolled in fox poo ..... The experience is such your mind will blank the memory afterwards. |

Curries and garlic or cat urine. My friend had a cat and when she moved house; the cat peed on her new dining room carpet. No matter how many times she cleaned that carpet, it smelt awful when it dried.
She had to get profesdional cleaners in the end and they told her that cat urine is very hard to remove. If you use a cleaning product with bleach, it forms crystals on cat urine and the smell is awful.
Im not a cat lover but id never have more than one cat in a house, as cats do soil when stressed and i also dont like cat litter trays, people putting them in their kitchens etc  |

Didn't know that about cats until I accidentally stood on her tail. She let out a blood curdling scream and ran from the room pissing every where: the rugs, the sofa, cushions...funny, she's never entwined herself round my legs when I'm walking since! |

i once had a pair of adidas trainers (nearly 30 years ago now) that were a grey suede and once that got wet they stank of cat piss
can anyone remember what they were called.

Worst smell i ever had in the house was a decomposed mouse. I'd bought some frozen ones for the snake I had, put the carrier bags where I store them. The smell was so bad and then I went to use one of the bags and the mouse was still in there

try eating one of them all day breakfasts that come in a tin it beats any curry known to man for that fragrant aroma.

House party smell, where everyone has crashed over and the stench when you open the door to the room on the morning after the night before where it's all happened. Usually a mix of spilt alcohol, stale smoke, fart, hangover breath, BO, sex, leftover food and general mingingness |

I think the smell of a deep fat fryer is the worse
but also don't like smell after someone's cooks strong smelling fish
and yeah dogs can cause a problem, mine stink after they have been for a walk and been running through wet fields and puddles |

Cat pee
btw for cat pee you have to use a cleaner with enzymes, not your usual cleaning stuff that will only make it worse. You can buy two different sprays to neutralise the smell, urin-off and wee away. They both work brilliantly. |

Honestly.... the smell of my daughter went she comes back from staying at her dads!! Its a mix of stale smoke, damp old house/ not properly dried washing. Its rank - but I try really hard not strip her & throw her in the bath the second she gets home!!
Oh & rotten potatoes is the worst smell in the world!!!
