I love all the comments on here about punctuation. Seeing as its almost Christmas I thought id post a sentence that makes me smile. Feel free to add your own.
'All the faith he'd had had had had no effect on the outcome of his life!'
And that is why English is one of the hardest languages to learn. |

In fact if i may id like to add to this thread. Do you consider yourself to be an intellectual?
I wouldn't say I was. However, the host of letters after my name makes people think I am.
Would you meet with somebody you class as intellectually inferior?
Now I don't think im superior so id say yes to that. |

Is being intellectual bad? I have noticed a certain inverted snobbery when it comes to things like that.
No I wouldn't class myself as intellectual and I don't think I'm superior to anyone. I would meet anyone that we both found we clicked with. |

I'm intelligent and fairly well educated. Those are measurable so I can state that with certainty. Intellectual is a bit more vague. I could be, but it's not something I think about. I'm just me.
Yes I'd meet people less intelligent and well educated but there's a limit. At some point I find conversation difficult and irritating and I feel we have little in common. |

Is this the 4 for 3 offer when clearly 3 will do |

I'd actually rather have my brain and my cognitive ability than the most beautiful face and body ever.
For one, a good body is possible if I decide to put in the effort, whereas intelligence is fairly fixed.
Also, brains last longer than beauty, usually. |

He has a stammer, leave the poor guy alone...jeez "
I thought have I been had? Had I been had I would've had to have words if I hadn't had already, if I had had words would I have been wrong? |

With all due respect to the OP and apologies to Floro for slipping this in...here is a sentence I just nick from Wiki - go there for an explanation.
"James, whilst John had had "had", had had "had had"; "had had" had had a better effect on the teacher". |

Don't forget the correct usage of capital letters. The huge difference it makes -'Helping your Uncle Jack off a horse' compared to 'Helping your uncle jack off a horse'. |
